My life did not begin in stability. It began in disruption. Exile reorganized my world long before I understood what exile meant. What survived was not comfort, but conviction — that memory must be preserved, suffering must be ordered, and faith must guide the rebuilding of what was nearly lost.
I was born in South Sudan, in a region where conflict was not theoretical but lived. War displaced us physically, but it also reshaped the interior life — through illness, separation, uncertainty, and endurance. In the absence of control, faith became structure. In the absence of certainty, discipline became survival.
I do not write to dramatize hardship. I write to preserve it faithfully. The work of remembering is not nostalgia; it is responsibility.
That responsibility now shapes my work. I serve through education, disciplined thought, and deliberate communication. Whether through writing, teaching, or building, my aim is the same: to transform experience into structure, conviction into action, and memory into service.
I believe survival alone is incomplete. Endurance must mature into service. Memory must become structure. Faith must produce discipline. The Living Dead exists so that what was forged in fire may strengthen others.
Today, my work is rooted in that conviction. I operate at the intersection of memory, structure, and discipline — applying the same principles that preserved my early life to the fields of education, data, and communication. What was once survival training has become intellectual training.
As a data scientist and educator, I am committed to clarity — in thought, in systems, and in speech. Precision matters. Structure matters. Integrity matters. Whether building analytical tools, designing learning systems, or writing memoir, the aim remains consistent: to transform complexity into order and experience into instruction.
Service, for me, is deliberate. It requires patience, rigor, and moral steadiness. The disciplines forged in displacement now shape the way I build, teach, and lead.

Why I Write On Truth, Precision, and the Weight of Words
Writing, for me, is an act of accountability. Words must answer to reality. I search for precision not to impress, but to prevent distortion. The right word preserves what the wrong word erases.
Some of these sentences were shaped in the dust of South Sudan. Some were formed in the silence of refugee camps. Others emerged slowly, as I learned to stand again in a country that did not know my name.
I write because silence can conceal what must be remembered. I write because language is the only grave some stories will ever receive.
Author's Editorial Philosophy
I do not embellish suffering. I do not dramatize hardship. I do not trade truth for elegance.
Clarity governs my editing. Restraint governs my tone. Where events are painful, they are told plainly. Where lessons emerge, they are not exaggerated.
Each piece is treated as record rather than performance. Editing sharpens expression, but it does not alter substance.
Family
My wife and my children are my anchor. They are the why beneath every word I write. In them I see the possibility that broken things can become whole in new ways, that displacement can birth belonging.
To be living and dead at once is to understand that grief and growth are not sequential. They are simultaneous.
